My 3rd freeware scenery creation for Microsoft Flightsimulator FS9.
Woodward Field Airport is also known to many folks living in South Carolina as the "Kershaw County Airport". Woodward Field is located approx. 6.9 miles northeast of the historical city of Camden, SC. It is owned by the county of Kershaw, South Carolina and is a public-use general-aviation airport for small planes and business jets.
More details and interesting facts can be discovered using the webpage links provided in this file package. Located in the 'PICS & EXTRAS' folder.
A good quality FS9 add-on terrain mesh is also recommended for best results (such as the FSGenesis products), but the scenery will work with the default FS9 mesh too. The scenery was designed using the 19.1 meter LOD mesh from FSGenesis.
This airport scenery was created using ADE9X (Airport Design Editor) version 1.47. Google Earth/Google Maps used for correct location of objects.

The scenery makes use of many custom freeware objects/textures which be freely obtained by downloading the complete scenery libraries of EZ-Scenery and RWY12. Download them and follow the easy directions to get them installed. These scenery libraries are required and must be installed for this airport scenery package to work/display properly.

I hope you enjoy flying into my version of Woodward Field. This old historical airfield near Camden,SC has been used for exciting vintage and WW-II airshows for many years. I remember attending several of them as a young child and also a few trips as a teenager. The VAA (Vintage Aircraft Association) currently holds Fly-In's annually at the airport, and the events are enjoyed by many people young & older each year. Woodward Field is a delightful and quiet place to fly into on a sunny weekend afternoon.
